The WHQ Finance Business Intelligence (FBI) group plays an integral role in supporting the Nike Finance function. This includes supplying both standard and ad hoc data views to enable them to successfully navigate the Corporate operational cycle as well as better understand their business to inform key decisions. Additionally, the FBI is directly in the center of a monumental, cross-functional pivot where legacy tools, systems and processes are all being overhauled. Our role in this is critical; we apply our existing expertise to key decisions with the aim to not just limit disruption but to unlock new capabilities.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an Analyst, Finance Data and Reporting who is on their way to building a career in Data and specifically, has an interest in the budding intersection of Finance Data Analytics. This person may not have an extensive resume built at this point, but their drive and curiosity will be evident through work and education experience

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Work within a team of peer and more Senior Data Professionals
  • Learn legacy and new systems, prepare job aids and instruction materials for the others on the team as well as the broader Finance function
  • Refresh and review Finance Reporting suites used in key operational activities
  • Work with other team members to solve complex Data challenges

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

A team of highly motivated Sr. Analysts supported by a Reporting and Data Operations Manager working directly with Global and/or Geo Finance Business Partners.

  • Interest in understanding core Finance processes

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or Finance or higher or Combination of relevant education, experience and training
  • 5+ years experience in data, reporting analytics or finance
  • Some skill in Excel required
  • Proven ability to understand processes and then create job aids for others

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated proficiency with visualization software incl. Tableau and Power BI
  • Advanced Excel skills including exposure to Data tools in Excel (Power Query and Power Pivot) or knowledge of those tools and their place in Power BI
  • SAP S4, SQL, R, Python, Amazon Web Services, Snowflake literacy desirable
