WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a skilled Finance Analyst for Japan Marketplace Finance who will support the long-range financial planning and drive strategic growth initiatives.

To be successful in this role we are looking for someone who is an ambitious self-starter and can deliver results in ambiguous situations using strategic and financial insights to help influence cross-functional partners. You should have a drive to understand how things work, an ability to build deep relationships with business partners, and the capacity to provide logic-driven analysis.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

If this sounds like you, you’ll be working with cross-functional teams to support long-range growth planning that will help optimize resources against our biggest growth opportunities.

Some of the key responsibilities will include supporting key marketplace channel growth plans, consolidating and assessing business risks & opportunities, and creating scenario-planning & analysis.

Additionally, you will be developing capabilities to drive financial analysis on Consumer, Product & Segments and analyzing changes needed to the Japan long-term financial model as we continue to execute our strategy and see shifts in the marketplace.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

This role will report into the Japan Marketplace Finance Director and will directly support all Finance Marketplace Unit leaders to drive the long-term planning.  You will also work closely with the Nike Direct & Nike Partners cross-functional leadership teams, as well as the Asia-Pacific and Latin America (APLA) Finance & Strategy teams on key strategic projects.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

• Bachelor's degree or higher (Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field)

• 3+ years of proven financial planning and analysis

• Advanced financial modeling skills using Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver presentations to senior leadership; Language requirement (e.g., Fluency in English is required. Minimum TOEIC 800+.)

• Strong ability to develop influential and collaborative relationships across teams, excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills

• Attention to detail in the development of management-quality insights, reporting and analytics for Senior Leadership
