Job Description Summary:What you need to know about the role-
- In Short: Corp FP&A role overseeing opex for total company. Monitor expense and headcount plan vs actual and provide analysis/recommendation for business partners and Finance team. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, ability to build relationships internally and externally, interfacing at all levels Meet our team This is a high visibility role in Corp FP&A team which exposure to P&L of total company. This role can make a direct impact on the business by providing accurate and real time reporting on the operating expenses, and calling out trends as business evolves. This helps business make real time decisions and pivot, as needed based on supporting data. This is a key liaison role between the Corp FP&A and the business finance teams.
- Effectively communicate financial results and key drivers through concise and effective storytelling
- Streamline, improve, & automate designated workstreams and processes to drive efficiency and improve response time to evolving requests from the business
- Conduct business case modeling, run deep dive analysis and other ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.
- Help facilitate a collaborative engagement with business to cultivate strong partnerships, yield actionable insights, and unlock incremental value for the enterprise
- Develop in-depth understanding of the business to proactively identify key business drivers
- Effectively communicate financial results and key drivers through concise and effective story telling
- Streamline, harmonize, and align designated workstreams and processes to drive efficiency and improve response time to evolving requests from the business
- Conduct business case modeling, run deep dive analysis and other ad-hoc financial analysis as needed
- Assist in process improvements using reporting and planning tools.
- Ad-hoc analysis & projects as needed to support business needs
- Work autonomously but in collaboration with teammates and business partners.
- BA/BS degree and 3-5 years relevant professional experience such as Finance, Accounting, or Consulting
- Analytical skills and experience managing complex data sets and identifying relevant trends (including pivot tables, charts, Power BI)
- Demonstrated ability to interpret data and offer insight and recommendations into business opportunities
- Results oriented, team player, fun, energetic personality, works well under pressure
- Must be eager to learn, contribute and share knowledge
- High level skills with Microsoft office Excel and power point
