Job Description Summary:
The position will be based in Brazil and will report directly to the Global Head of Audit Operations. The position will be responsible for supporting the Global Internal Audit Team through the Shared Services Program. The Shared Services Program is a centralized team within Internal Audit that performs a vital role in standardizing and streamlining high quality audit work.

Job Description:
Specifically, the position will be responsible for areas such as:

  • Collaborating with Internal Audit department members to complete requests to support audit execution tasks, such as review of audit reports in accordance with internal standards and performing assigned control testing.
  • Aiding with the follow up and validation process for remediation of Internal Audit issues by partnering with Internal Audit team members and remediation owners to appropriately document issue status and perform issue validation upon completion of remediation.
  • Assisting the Audit Operations team with various department tasks including communication of audits to key stakeholders, drafting monthly department newsletters, and monitoring progress of team trainings.
  • Completing all assigned tasks timely and in accordance with applicable Internal Audit policies, procedures, and standards. Identify inconsistencies, errors, and discrepancies, and communicate collaboratively with team members to resolve.


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5+ years of External Audit or Internal Audit experience within a large and high growth company that provides financial products and services, and proven experience in project management and/or client facing functions.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

The successful candidate must possess:

  • Strong understanding of auditing practices and the Institute of Internal Audit (IIA) standards, including how to identify risks, evaluate controls and test control effectiveness.
  • A team player with excellent time and project management skills including the ability to successfully manage multiple requests at once and execute tasks within SLA’s.
  • Have excellent attention to detail to both content and formatting to ensure quality and accurate audit documentation.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work across multiple global time zones.
  • Ability to travel if required.
  • A passion for understanding the unique PayPal community, along with a passion for understanding the online payments business.
  • A deadline driven focus with the ability to handle multiple projects at once.


HIGHLY DESIRED:

  • Project management and client-facing experience
  • Experience with audit management and GRC tools, such as AuditBoard or ServiceNow
